{"id":2042,"date":"2009-09-17T17:58:03","date_gmt":"2009-09-17T09:58:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nick.onetwenty.org\/?p=2042"},"modified":"2009-09-17T17:58:03","modified_gmt":"2009-09-17T09:58:03","slug":"60hz-revisited","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nick.onetwenty.org\/index.php\/2009\/09\/17\/60hz-revisited\/","title":{"rendered":"60Hz revisited"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/james.onetwenty.org\/\">Jim<\/a> got a copy of the old <a href=\"http:\/\/60hz.csse.uwa.edu.au\/\">60Hz<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nongnu.org\/cvs\/\">CVS<\/a> repository on CD-ROM and wanted to put some of the old projects on the <a href=\"http:\/\/onetwenty.org\">OneTwenty<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/subversion.tigris.org\/\">SVN<\/a> server.<\/p>\n<p>The entire process was pretty easy using <a href=\"http:\/\/cvs2svn.tigris.org\/\">cvs2svn<\/a>. We migrated the <a href=\"http:\/\/60hz.csse.uwa.edu.au\/libraries.html\">Clean Rendering Libraries<\/a> first. It seemed the easiest one to transfer since it&#8217;s just a bunch of text files (no binaries).<\/p>\n<p>On the machine with the CVS repository, I ran:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><code>cvs2svn --default-eol=native --dumpfile clean.dump [cvsroot]\/clean2<\/code><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>and then on the server with the SVN repository, I ran:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><code>svnadmin load [svnroot] &lt; clean.dump<\/code><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This promoted a single project within the CVS repository to be the main line of a new SVN repository.
