{"id":534,"date":"2006-01-26T19:37:02","date_gmt":"2006-01-26T11:37:02","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2010-06-25T11:55:07","modified_gmt":"2010-06-25T03:55:07","slug":"nintendo_ds_lite_announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nick.onetwenty.org\/index.php\/2006\/01\/26\/nintendo_ds_lite_announced\/","title":{"rendered":"Nintendo DS lite announced!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"bloglink\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.4colorrebellion.com\/archives\/2006\/01\/26\/ds-gets-a-redesign-ds-lite\/\">http:\/\/www.4colorrebellio&#8230;design-ds-lite\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I was happy to see this on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.4colorrebellion.com\">4colorrebellion<\/a> today:<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/nick.onetwenty.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/b2evo\/dslite.jpg?w=840\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Nintendo have formally announced a new version of the DS!<\/p>\n<p>In the comments for that post Hamblasto mentioned that I was pretty close with my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onetwenty.org\/blogs\/index.php?blog=5&amp;title=reasonable_nintendo_ds_redesign&amp;more=1&amp;c=1&amp;tb=1&amp;pb=1\">reasonable redesign<\/a>. So I figured that I would try to see how close I actually was. I took my earlier design and made a few modification to get it closer to the Nintendo DS lite. It took around 10-15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/nick.onetwenty.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/b2evo\/ds_final_blog.jpg?w=840\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>All-in-all pretty close. The size was just about right. The faceplate was off. The control placement was a little off. I think that the overall aesthetic was about right though.<\/p>\n<p>Larger (but more compressed) image after the jump. <\/p>\n<p><em>Update: Oops.
