We then decided to play some old games such as: <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Daytona_USA_(arcade_game)\">Daytona USA 2001<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Marvel_vs._Capcom:_Clash_of_Super_Heroes\">Marvel vs. Capcom<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Space_Channel_5\">Space Channel 5<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Crazy_Taxi\">Crazy Taxi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, his Dreamcast kept randomly resetting. Irritated, we dug up my Dreamcast and gave that a go. Same problem! Ack! I know that this is a common issue and decided to check the Internet for a solution.<\/p>\n<p>I came across <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmmonkey.co.uk\/console\/sega\/dc-reset.htm\">various<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www94.pair.com\/jsoper\/dc_fix.html\">solutions<\/a> involving different levels of screwdrivering and the like, but this solution stood out:<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"425\" height=\"355\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/U5AZ7mQvE1o&#038;hl=en\"><\/param><param name=\"wmode\" value=\"transparent\"><\/param><\/object><\/p>\n<p>For those of you without the bandwidth to see the video; it basically indicates that you should give the Dreamcast a few quick smacks on the backside (&#8220;naughty console! stop resetting!&#8221;) to make it behave.
