{"id":803,"date":"2009-03-07T21:06:10","date_gmt":"2009-03-07T13:06:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nick.onetwenty.org\/?p=803"},"modified":"2009-03-07T21:09:24","modified_gmt":"2009-03-07T13:09:24","slug":"busy-last-few-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nick.onetwenty.org\/index.php\/2009\/03\/07\/busy-last-few-days\/","title":{"rendered":"Last few days"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This post is just a quick recap of the last few days (I don&#8217;t really have time for a full blog post for each thing that happened).<\/p>\n<p>Here we go:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I made my first (basic) flash game using <a href=\"http:\/\/haxe.org\/\">Haxe<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flashdevelop.org\/\">FlashDevelop<\/a> (which is a really nice IDE)&#8230; then ran into a bug when adding more features.<\/li>\n<li>I bought a <a href=\"http:\/\/cgi.ebay.com.au\/Full-HD-1080P-Digital-Video-Camcorder-Camera-16GB-8MP_W0QQitemZ330311177563QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Digital_Video_Cameras?hash=item330311177563&#038;_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&#038;_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A1|39%3A1|240%3A1308\">HD (1080p@30fps) digital video camera<\/a> for only AU$299 (that&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com.au\/search?q=299+AUD+in+USD\">less then US$200<\/a>). It&#8217;s much better than I expected, I&#8217;ll post more on it later.<\/li>\n<li>I setup <a href=\"http:\/\/www.limesurvey.org\/\">LimeSurvey<\/a> (at an as-yet-unannounced location) and I&#8217;m preparing a Perth games industry survey. Thanks to Will for mentioning LimeSurvey on a <a href=\"http:\/\/pigmi.org\/\">PIGMI<\/a> mailing list discussion; It looks good so far.<\/li>\n<li>I saw the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Watchmen_(film)\">Watchmen movie<\/a>. Without <a href=\"http:\/\/working-as-designed.blogspot.com\/2009\/03\/my-point-and-i-really-do-have-one.html\">spoiling it<\/a>, I&#8217;ll say that it was enjoyable.
