I’m up to chapter 6 of “Manna”, an online book by Marshal Brian, the founder of How Stuff Works. It’s quite an interesting view of a future dominated by robots and shaped by a human greed and (conversely) ideology.

Thanks for pointing this out. I read the whole thing (in one sitting) and enjoyed it. The ending was a bit strange though. The first half creeped me out a bit because it didn’t seem too far fetched.
Yeah. I felt it ended a little abruptly. I was waiting for some sort of dark secret to the second part.
